Happy Friday! Today is a special day for me because it marks five years since I rather spontaneously up and moved to the Pacific Northwest (in what proved to be one of my smarter random ideas.) I found a home here in every sense of the word. In fact, I can honestly say that I found everything I'd been looking for in life as a result of that move. Considering I was wiping away tears as the plane landed in Seattle that day, I'm pretty fantastically grateful for how everything has turned out. :) Anyway, here are a few things I loved this week:
- Milk Bottle Measuring Cups featured on Twig & Thistle - Ohhh, Anthropologie... you've done it again. Another insanely cute kitchen item that I very much want, but very much don't need. Sad.
- That Darn Kat undies on Fake It While You Make It - Holy cuteness. I feel slightly weird posting another blogger's kid's bum, but these undies were just too cute not to share. I also love that the author shares my distaste for the word "panties" (it's in my top 5 least favorite words of all time.) I definitely plan to make a bunch of these once my little one is potty trained... you know, a million diapers from now.
- Honeycomb storage shelves on Design*Sponge - Shelving is one of the easiest things you can DIY to save some money on home decor, and I particularly love these honeycomb shelves because they're not just functional - they're like a little art installation. The possibilities are endless for paint colors and configurations.
Have a great weekend, everyone! We're tackling some big non-nursery projects around the house this weekend, including a total move and re-org of my craft space. Stay tuned...!
